DESIGN INSPIRATION:The design of this bag is inspired by a Han Dynasty artefact, a brocade armguard called ‘The Five Stars Rise in the East’ from the Niya site in Hetian region of Xinjiang in 1995, which is a piece of brocade with great historical and cultural value. In order to clearly reproduce the intricate patterns and colours of the mountainous cloud pattern, the designer used the traditional Chinese Song brocade craft, which is one of the four famous brocades in China with its gorgeous colours, delicate patterns and soft texture.
FEATURES OF SONG BROCADE:Song brocade is beautifully designed, elegantly coloured, flat and straight, with ancient colour layers, harmony and elegance, featuring weft colours, it is a weft brocade with rich colours and exquisite patterns.
RAW METERIAL:The raw material of Song brocade is luxurious mulberry silk, and the production process is complicated, from reeling, dyeing to weaving products, before and after more than 20 procedures to complete. Silk products made from mulberry silk add a touch of sophistication and elegance for women.
